A heart of gold, a smile of pure joy, a kindness that extended to all she knew. Nomie Sackman passed away in Florida on Thursday, June 16th surrounded by her loved ones. She was 72. Born and raised in Haifa, Israel, she moved to Florida to marry her husband, Christopher Sackman. Nomie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She devoted herself to raising her twin children throughout their growing years. She was an avid couponer and always looked forward to time with her children and grandchildren. She and her husband Christopher enjoyed spending time together at their Florida home in Boynton Beach which they had for 40 years. The beloved wife of Christopher Sackman, Nomie was a devoted mother to Crystal London and Danny Sackman. She was a loving grandmother to Christopher London, Sullivan Sackman, Griffin Sackman, Halle Sackman, and Dylan Sackman. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Sinai Memorial Chapel, 15120 Jog Road, Delray Beach, FL 33446 on Tuesday, July 5th from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm followed by a funeral procession and ceremony at the South Florida National (VA) Cemetery, 6501 State Road 7, Lake Worth, FL 33449 at 2 pm.
