Gloria Ann Schwartz passed away on February 1, 2020 in Boca Raton, FL at the age of 79 from a rare form of heart failure. She was the beloved wife of Marvin Schwartz, mother or Pam Kutoroff of Paramus, NJ, mother of Lyn Schwartz of Needham, MA, mother-in-law of Bob Gauthier of Needham, MA, and grandmother (“Grammy”) of Jared Kutoroff, Brooke Kutoroff, Jenna Kutoroff, Ella Gauthier and Bennett Gauthier. Gloria and Marvin shared 58 years of marriage together after meeting at a Jewish dance in Queens, NY. They spent most of their married life in Paramus, NJ and their retirement years at Hunter’s Run in Boynton Beach, FL. Born in Queens, NY, Gloria was the daughter of Mollie (Finkelstein) Bernfeld and Philip Bernfeld, and the sister of Steve Bernfeld (all deceased). As an adult, Gloria enjoyed taking college classes at Bergen Community College and The New School, playing tennis, traveling, and spending time with family and close friends. She will be remembered for her warmth, wit, intelligence, athleticism, organizational skills, honesty, and sense of humor. She will always be missed by her family and dear friends.
