Words cannot express the huge void left in our souls and hearts and it is only the memories now that are flooding in to Celebrate Brian and embrace how he lived. All those that were touched by Brian’s infectious smile, wild sense of humor, complete compassion and loving care, great looks (Brian would of surely added that one) know immediately that he had a child like adventurous spirit that some of us had let go throughout the years. He would bring it back in all of us at moments, with a story, and followed by our laughter that would fix everything. His keen insight to how things worked whether it was a motorcycle parts, cell phones, guitar chords or feelings, brought about long discussions lasting into the wee hours of the night with me, and sometimes any one of his friends who would be up to listen. His achievements were fueled by seeking out new challenges, i.e. Studying for the impossible Series 7 exam – “Brian style”, at the beach. Brian spoke freely-we listened, he wrote captivating stories -we read them all, Brian told lengthy Jokes (The Pirate) just like his dad Kal and we laughed and never forgot… Being a father, opened up for Brian a passion for teaching, playing, protecting, and from the beginning Brian and Tori were “Two Peas in a Pod”. From Ice skating, roller blading, snowboarding, watching scary movies, getting late night snacks at the local gas station (don’t tell mommy,) they also both had frequent favorite dinners of Filet Mignon and Lobster, followed by a Milky Way or Reese’s cups. Brian embraced life with a passion, played professional trumpet, guitar, and harmonica, and sang beautifully. He loved cycling through the hills of New Jersey and surfing on cold winter days at the shore. His favorite was a skiing, and finding long trails fading in the late afternoon sun the last runs of the day were the best. In business when things got out of hand he was able to assemble a team and move everyone to another company. He collected lifelong friends easily. Being with Brian for over 20 years I was enlightened and touched by his sweet soul: we learned from each other as we grew and I truly feel privileged to have been his love, his wife, his friend, and a part of his world. Brian Is also survived by his sister Marilyn, his brother Jeff, along with Uncles, Aunts and many cousins who simply call him their favorite uncle. Brian’s Soul is at Peace now with Kal and Rosemond his Mom and Dad, and we know that Brian would of wanted the felling of peace reflected back onto all of us here in this world. We forever love you.
